To honor Mrs. Aman Sandhu and Ms. Prachi , we organised a small get together as Mrs. Aman Sandhu has successfully completed her journey of fine arts course with 25 magnificent paintings and Prachi⁩ has made us and our institute proud by getting admission in one of the best universities of (India) Delhi in Fine Arts course. We gladly wish that they fulfill all their aspirations and spreading the joy of art as much as they can. God Bless them both and hope they achieve more heights in their work and never forget their first step from CHEEDA ART, make us proud more. In our modern cities we have lost our own space to walk and the space to cycle or meditate or relax.Our right to space has been taken away by vehicles, pollution, commercial interests and gross selfishness of all kind. The Day is an attempt to recapture our lost horizons,our need to rest , relax and re-discover our creative and potential talents in each one of us. Those who support the day and who meaningfully participated it include the press,the governmental agencies and the local citizens. The participation of art students led by Mr. Subhash Cheeda and his brood underlines the need to bring back to our dull and monotonous modern life the sheer art of living,living with meaning, painting , music and meditation.He and his students from various walks of life always supported the social causes and his powerful brush is symbolic of this thirst for renewal and rejuvenation of our spirits.Modern urban life will be richer and better by such support by youngsters, particularly the art community and their public display of art and painting. They challenged us to reinforce the fact that man live not by bread alone.There are beautiful things which can make life more enjoyable, meaningful and joyful. The participation and contribution of art students is a reminder of our lost art of living and it is not too late to rediscover it by our stopping and reflecting on it by such celebrations like Raahgiri Day.

About Me

Subhash Cheeda is a teacher and artist with a highly experienced background. His artwork has been exhibited and widely received in the USA, which has resulted in the release of his magnificent artwork and published in some beautifully illustrated books in the USA. Cheeda art is increasingly growing in popularity. He is also known as a highly recommended artist on an order basis. Subhash Cheeda is no stranger to the artist's community in northwest India. He has expressed himself in paint and brush for the last two decades in Punjab. In his state and on the wide canvass of the internet he has left his indelible impressions and he has inspired many others by his brush and paint creations. Portraits of historical figures, public personalities and leaders of the community have embraced his brush and they stand apart in bright and beautiful colors on many walls and vividly in public places. The Tribune, published from Chandigarh, has often reported about this young artist again and again. His Punjabi version of the Last Supper in the Christian Medical College Chapel and his painting on the healing episodes of Christ are of great value and importance for artists and art. His brush painted a beautiful portrait of Edith Mary Brown, the founder of Christian Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana. It is an enviable creation, created out of the remains of an old black and white photograph of the founder in the early nineteenth century. Martin Luther King, Bhagat Singh, and the classical saints, gods, and goddesses of the religion form part of the wide range of the canvass of Subhash Cheeda. He also has an enviable collection of contemporary portraits in his wide range of creations. Facebook, YouTube, and the Internet have given him the much-needed publicity and fan following. A prophet is not often recognized in his own community, they say. But the world has given Cheeda a name and a habitation, and he has proudly earned his place among the starry sky through his valuable creations. Cheeda has been leaving his impressions on the young minds of upcoming artists and students of painting through education and training. His legacy is an abiding and living one, and he is leaving it to be inherited by another generation of young students. A thing of art is a joy forever, and the Cheeda art has all the potential for future expansion and a flourish. The road before Subhash Cheeda is a long and broad, and he is sure to make big strides on the high road of art and culture in the foreseeable future.
